Good views and convience location. Everything is pretty good.
Convenient location, quiet with an excellent restaurant. Staff & service was excellent
The view from the balcony and the free onsite carparking.
There was no DVD player or ipod dock.
Efficient and friendly service from desk and restaurant staff. Downstairs foyer is bright and welcoming. Good breakfast menu.
Two lights not working in my room on arrival. Staff promptly moved me to another room when this was notified. TV had only 3 channels that I could locate.Like many medium priced hotels the rooms are pretty gloomy....why not be a bit adventurous with some colour and light?
The layout of the accommodation and bathroom was roomy and luxurious. I enjoyed peace and quiet which means the hotel has been appropriately built so noise doesn't penetrate from adjoining rooms. I also enjoyed the view from my 7th floor window and the closeness to the city - within 10 mins walking distance.
I noticed that brewed coffee was on offer for breakfast but only tea made from tea bags. I enjoy brewed tea and would reccommend that you provide it. The taste of brewed tea cannot be compared with tea bags.
Good location, refurbished bathrooms
Rooms are too almost small for a contemporary hotel and the furniture is very tired. Replacing threadbare carpets in lift lobbies, antiquated/ slow lift mechanisms and decrepit sliding doors to the balcony would help lift the ambiance.
We really enjoy the position, close to park and tram as well as some restaurants. We have always found staff helpful and quite friendly.
We have stayed at this hotel several times, but this time was not as enjoyable. Reception staff (male) was not welcoming and unhelpful about an early check in. He could have been nicer about the refusal. All other desk staff were as we have come to expect, friendly and helpful. In our room, the drapes needed attention, did not close, as they were partly unhooked. The door to our room would not close without re-inserting the key. The bedside clock could not be re-programmed for daylight saving change-over, just halted midway and refused to move further. A series of annoyances were disconcerting.
Central to the city Comfortable beds good staff
They have a cortousy car but want to charge you $5.00 a head to use it.Then they um and are about it.
The room was a good side. We stayed for 5 nights for the clipsal 500 .The hotel was good but over priced and the bird droppings on the balcony were dusgusting . We had to tip toe through it to go out side and for the amount of money we paid it should have been clean up each day.
We did not like the bird droppings on the balcony it was dusgusting. We had to tip toe through it to go out side and for the amount of money we paid it should of been clean up each day. Bird dropping carry germs and is not good for your heath
The way the receptionist went out of her way to do my boarding pass for me for my return flight as time was of an essence.
Warm welcome and helpfulness of reception staff.
No indoor swimming pool/spa within the hotel. Although we knew we could swim at one of two nearby it was raining on arrival which meant we didn't get to use the outdoor facilities.
i liked the location and helpfulness of staff, they were extremely good, pleasant so standard was very high please keep it that way
the early morning pigeons that have made their home on the window ledge, they thought getting up time was 4.00am also free water in the room would have been appreciated thanks
The pool and the paper in the morning.
The receptionist on check-in was very average and did not set a good scene for our stay. No eye contact or welcome, no assistance with our bags. Room wasn't all that clean with cigarette butts on the balcony.
I loved the location - right near the parks and the city. It was easy to drive to the main roads that took you to the Adelaide Hills and Glenelg, so sightseeing from this hotel was very easy.
Central Location is great, loved the room.
I was disappointed this time with a few things, when I mentioned them to the front desk staff they were brushed off as not important- as far as I'm concerned everything a customer says is important
